Note: This is a Crossover Session that is featured at the National Summit on Improvement in Education. Attendees from both conferences can attend this session, so there will be a mix of participants from Deeper Learning and from Summit. .
Discover how the Denver Public Schools' College Ready on Track (CRoT) team achieved “thrilling results” for Long-Term Multilingual Learners (LTMLL) in our network schools. We will uncover the story of “Diego,” an LTMLL whose journey reveals the powerful process of our hub team building a Networked Improvement Community that boosted outcomes and shifted academic trajectories. You will experience how we leveraged data to uncover inequity and fuel stakeholder engagement, and explore the PDSA notebook template our educators used to gauge and monitor the language development of their LTMLL students. Finally, we will share the emerging strategies for sustaining our momentum since our grant funding ended, and participants will apply these core learnings to their own context, ensuring they leave equipped to strengthen and accelerate meaningful, sustained improvement.
